Castle Bytham, Lincolnshire
Background
This fantastic job was completed in conjunction with our sister company Bespoke Landscaping Co., who worked on all of the landscaping elements of the property.
Along with Bespoke Landscaping Co., we were asked to work on the landscaping and hardscaping elements of an outdoor space in Castle Bytham, Lincolnshire.
Brief
Because this was a private residential home, our client asked that we used a fencing that didn’t impact their views of the countryside, and was robust enough to prevent their dog from escaping.
What We Did
A beautiful chrome water feature was installed at the centre of the path, surrounded by our bespoke circular steel edging. The patio is surrounded by oak posts and glass balustrades which connect to the steel estate fencing, which was selected to maintain completely unspoilt views of the surrounding countryside.
To prevent the clients’ dog escaping we installed a 6mm steel round bar along the bottom rails of the estate fencing to decrease the gap along the bottom-most rows.
We used our steel edging along the boundary of the lawn to create the clean and defined lines that the client was looking for, and Bespoke Landscaping Co. selected a fossil mint Indian sandstone with a granite sett to contrast with the black of the estate fencing.
Overall, the job took around four weeks to complete from start to finish.
The client wanted clean lines and tidy definitions between the lawn, paths, and patio, as well as a water feature centre piece.
