Mild steel base plates, supplied loose for customers who’d rather weld their own on site, rather than have it welded on before dispatch. If you’d like the plate already welded on and ready to bolt down, see the “Base plate (bolt down)” option on the fencing, end/corner post and wall post pages instead. Fixings are not supplied with any of the plates below.

Base Plates FAQs
What’s the difference between a loose base plate and the “Base plate (bolt down)” option?
A loose base plate is supplied separately for you to weld on yourself. The “Base plate (bolt down)” option, chosen when ordering your post, arrives with the plate already welded on by us, ready to bolt straight down.
Which base plate do I need?
This depends on what you’re fitting it to: fencing uprights and wall posts use the upright post base plates (BP-50 Standard or BP-60 Heavy Duty), end and corner posts use BP-150, and gate posts use BP-250 or BP-250-G if extra support is needed.
Are fixings included?
No, fixings are not supplied with any of the base plates.
