Our edging is fabricated in the UK, using only the highest quality of steel, and can be purchased for supply only or can be installed by one of our expert teams.

We recommend a thickness of at least 5mm for your gravel edging to ensure that your edging will remain hardy.

Steel Types

At Steel Landscaping Co. we offer two finishing options for our gravel edging, these are Mild and CorTen steel. In addition to this, we also offer painted and galvanised edging. For further information and advice on this, please contact our team today.

Mild Steel

Mild Steel, sometimes also known as plain-carbon steel, is a versatile, easy-to-weld material. Due to its low carbon content, mild steel is much more flexible and malleable, making it much easier to work with when welding and fitting.

Mild Steel also evolves to have a stunning golden patina too.

CorTen Steel

CorTen steel is a hardy material that boasts unique weathering properties.

When exposed to moisture and air, this steel naturally begins to rust and form a protective layer that is not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing.

The newly formed patina will turn the steel hues of copper, rust, and bronze, while protecting the material from harmful environmental factors.

Thanks to this, CorTen steel is a low-maintenance material and will last much longer than other products on the market.

How do I measure my driveway for the installation of my gravel edging?

There are a couple of different ways for you to measure your driveway at home. The first is to simply approach it with a tape measure. This method works perfectly if your driveway is a generalised shape, such as a rectangle or square.

If the area you are measuring has a curve, you can lay a rope along the curve to get a proper measurement of the length of the curve.

Self-Installation Steel Edging

Self-Installed Steel Edging is also available to all customers who want to install their steel edging themselves. This steel edging is made of a slightly different type of steel to allow for easier self installation, but the product will still have the same amount of durability. 

This edging uses a unique system that allows each piece of steel to be seamlessly connected with a steel plate, stud bolt and nut connection. Only basic tools are required to see your edging installed.

We advise that high torque power tools such as impact drivers are not used during installation.

How will edging arrive?

At Steel Landscaping Co., we will always aim to deliver your items as quickly and as safely as possible. Our entire catalogue of products, including your steel gravel edging, is made to order, as such, some delivery times may vary. 

We aim to deliver all good within 14 days of accepting the order. We will do our best to fit our delivery schedule around your requirements. If you have a specific deadline, feel free to get in touch with us, and we will try to accommodate.

We recommend that you do not plan your installation date until after you have received your Steel Landscaping Co. products.

We will typically deliver our products using our preferred haulage company. Your order will be delivered on pallets, as such, please ensure that you have the appropriate off loading facilities to take a rigid lorry with the correct machine to lift your pallet off the lorry. Each pallet will be under 1000kg. Alternatively, if you do not have access to lifting machinery, then we ask that you have 2 competent people to hand lift your products from the delivery lorry. 

If you do not have the following facilities or two competent people to lift your products, please contact our team, and we will be happy to supply your edging in 2 metre lengths.

If access to your delivery address is restricted, please let us know when speaking to our team.

Deliveries are made from Monday – Friday, excluding bank holidays and weekends.
