End posts and corner posts are the same product: hollow section steel posts sized to match your estate fencing, marking the start, end or a change of direction in your fence line.
Sizes & Profile
Available in six heights – 1.0m, 1.2m, 1.4m, 1.6m, 1.8m and 2.0m – to match your fence height, in a choice of profile:
- 70mm square: 70 x 70 x 3mm box section (SHS).
- 76mm round: Ø76.1 x 3mm tube (CHS).
Finials & Finish
Available with or without an Ø80mm ball finial. Finished in bare metal or primer painted black RAL 9005 (undercoat only, so the post can still be welded on site), with galvanised available on request (POA).
Fixing
- In ground: 600mm extra length set into the ground for 1.0-1.4m posts, or 800mm for 1.6-2.0m posts. These posts are stiffer box/tube section, concreted in for stability.
- Base plate (bolt down): +£12.00. The base plate is welded onto the post by us before dispatch, so it arrives ready to bolt down to a concrete footing, slab or wall – no welding needed on site. Fixings are not supplied (4 x M12). Bolt-down posts stand at fence height, with no extra length.

End/Corner Posts FAQs
How deep do end and corner posts need to go into the ground?
600mm for posts up to 1.4m, and 800mm for 1.6m to 2.0m posts, when set in the ground rather than bolted down. These posts are a stiffer box and tube section than the fencing uprights, so they don’t need to go as deep.
What’s the difference between the in-ground and Base plate (bolt down) options?
In-ground posts are set directly into the ground as standard, with extra length below ground level. Base plate (bolt down) posts arrive with a base plate already welded on, ready to bolt straight to a concrete footing, slab or wall – fixings aren’t supplied, so you’ll need your own to suit the surface.
Can I match my end and corner posts to my fencing finish?
Yes, both are available in the same bare metal, primer painted or galvanised finishes as the fencing itself.
