For fencing runs that finish against a wall, brick pier or timber post, our wall posts fix to it and take the rails, which are fed through and welded in place, for a neat, secure finish.
Standard and Heavy Duty
- Standard: 40 x 8mm on the 1.0m to 1.4m sizes, 40 x 10mm on the 1.6m to 2.0m sizes, matched to Standard range fencing.
- Heavy Duty: 50 x 10mm at every size, matched to Heavy Duty range fencing.
Choose the range to match the fencing it’s being fixed to.
Under-Rail Holes
The wall post should match your fencing’s under-rail choice: rectangular slots for flat under-rails, or round holes for round under-rails. The price is the same either way.
- Standard: 8 x 27mm slots or Ø18mm holes, plus a Ø22mm top rail hole.
- Heavy Duty: 10 x 27mm slots or Ø22mm holes, plus a Ø22mm top rail hole.
Fixing Holes
Each wall post has 3 countersunk holes (4 on the 1.8m and 2.0m sizes) for M10 fixings. Fixings are not supplied – these need to be sourced separately by the installer, to suit whether it’s fixing to a wall, brick pier or timber post.
Fitting the Rail
The fence rail is fed through the post on site and welded in place by the installer, rather than bolted.
Base Plate (Bolt Down)
The wall post can also be supplied with a base plate welded on before dispatch, ready to bolt down instead of fixing to a wall, brick pier or timber post. +£8.00 (Standard) or +£10.00 (Heavy Duty) per post.

Wall Posts FAQs
Do I need a wall post instead of an end post?
A wall post is used where your fencing run finishes against a wall, brick pier or timber post, rather than needing a free-standing end post.
Are fixings included?
No, fixings are not supplied. The installer sources these separately, to suit whatever the post is being fixed to.
How is the wall post fixed to my fencing?
The rail is fed through the post on site and welded in place by the installer, so it needs to be fitted as part of a welded installation.
Does the wall post match my fencing range?
Yes, choose Standard or Heavy Duty to match your fencing, and rectangular or round holes to match your under-rail choice.
